BIO

Bridgette Yarwood is a multi-genre singer/songwriter from southern Alberta, with over 20 years of stage experience. Her music is described as piano rock, blending elements of jazz, pop, and R&B. Known for her powerful, commanding voice, Bridgette’s sound is emotionally charged, backed by an amazing and tight band that lend bold guitar riffs and a strong rhythm section. Her raw, unapologetic style and magnetic stage presence leave a lasting impact.

LATEST OFFERINGS

- Bridgette is the full time owner and operator of Sing A Song That's Yours Vocal Studios, working as a voice instructor AND MUSIC MENTOR for nearly 17 years.  She teaches out of her home based studio in Lethbridge, Alberta.  

-Currently FOCUSING on performing only with her original band but has performed in various cover projects over the years.  She can also be found doing the occasional solo show in and around southern Alberta. 

-Invited to perform at The Western Canadian Brewery Awards held at The Big Four Stage at Calgary’s Stampede Grounds, 2023

-Performed a room of over 5000 people for Alberta Innovates at The Telus Convention Centre in Calgary as well Faimont Hotel, Big Sky Lounge in Banff, Alberta, 2023

-Dressed and performed the part of Ozzy in a sold out show for a Black Sabbath Tribute, 2022.  Then did the same thing for another sold out show performing as Robert Plant in a Led Zeppelin Tribute, 2022

-travels quite extensively to Calgary to perform weddings, galas, fundraisers and markets as well to record her upcoming album, “Sometimes We Just Never Know Why”.  

-Currently recording at award winning studio with Grant Howarth at Audiohouse Recording Studio (Shania Twain just recorded there!)  She’s now released 5 studio singles and continues to write, record and perform music with her original band.

- Winning the ROCK106 Radio "Battle Of The Bands" at The University Of Lethbridge, March 2003

- Winning the Supernova "Battle of the Bands" at The University of Calgary, SAIT GATEWAY, 2004

- Recorded full length album entitled "Far Removed From" at Greenhouse Studios in Vancouver, B.C. where others like Nickelback, Bryan Adams and Celine Dion have recorded, 2006

- Her vocals were showcased to the record Execs/managers at Wind Up Records (Evanescence, Finger Eleven), after hearing Bridgette's voice one of their comments was "powerfully fantastic!"

-  Has toured and performed all across Canada, with her band as well as a solo artist.  She's had the opportunity to open up for some great Canadian bands including: The Trews, Bif Naked, SocialCode (Universal Records), Grimskunk (Indica Records), Cancer Bats, Alpha Galates (EMI Records), The Stampeders, and Kim Mitchell. 

- Had radio airplay for the song "Not The Best For My Interior"  and a full interview at The BBC Merseyside in Liverpool, UK with Liverpool's very famous radio personality Billy Butler, 2007

- Was invited to perform at the annual "Just Plain Folks" Showcase in Nashville, TN at the B.B. King stage, 2009
